New York Mayor Eric Adams is under increasing pressure to step down after four top officials in his administration resigned over allegations of a quid pro quo with the Trump administration. Adams denies claims that he agreed to help enforce deportation efforts in exchange for the dismissal of a corruption case. Gov. Kathy Hochul is now considering the unprecedented step of removing Adams from office.
