Wall Street has seen six straight weeks of gains and with unemployment near a 50-year low, there are signs the economy is strong. However, the cost of everyday essentials is still a top-of-mind issue for voters, and although the rate of inflation is at a three-year low, consumers are still complaining food prices remain high.
